What makes a cable fast-charging?
A cable can look compatible while limiting charging speed. Connection type, power rating, length and the charger used all matter.
Connection comes first
USB-A and USB-C at the wall-plug end are not interchangeable. At the device end, choose USB-C or 8-Pin to match the device you own.
Power rating matters
A cable rated for 60W may suit phones, tablets and some laptops. Higher-power devices can require a 100W or 240W cable. The device and plug must also support the same charging mode.
Buy the length you need
Longer cables are useful beside a bed or sofa, while short cables reduce clutter around a power bank. Choose a reinforced or braided finish where the cable will be moved frequently.
Always check the specifications supplied by your device manufacturer. If you are unsure, email techsupplylondon@outlook.com before ordering.
